- The Library collection focuses on authoritative literature in
biomedical research and clinical practice. Established in 1908, the Ruth Lilly Medical
Library contains more than 245,000 volumes, with current subscriptions
to approximately 1900 journals.
- Materials not available at the Library can be requested from
other institutions. The Document Delivery
Service is available without charge to Medical Center students,
faculty and staff. Non-IU Medical Center personnel are assessed
a fee for each request.
- Photocopy machines are available for the users' convenience
at a cost of ten cents per copy (cash) or seven cents per copy
(with copy card). Microform materials may be copied for five cents
per exposure.
- There are public workstations for searching MEDLINE and other
databases on all three floors.
