Greetings
from the John Shaw Billings History of Medicine Society, Inc. The Ruth Lilly Medical Library
is not only cut off by construction but also has recently experienced a
flood due to construction work. Fortunately no books have been damaged but
carpets and walls on the first floor are being treated to prevent the
growth of mould. Our programs in the library will begin after the main
entrance to the Library and Research Building are re-opened. We have programs scheduled for
Spring, including Dr. Charles Hazelrigg and Dr. Suzanne Knoebel.
