The Digital Library is a collection of Indiana historical medical information that will be freely available online for public health researchers, historians, teachers and students. The Library will include full-text issues and an extensive Image Collection of photographs and drawings from the Monthly Bulletin of the Indiana State Department of Health, dating from the 1890's. In addition, public health statistics will be available for the state, counties and cities. The project will also include other historical materials from the Indiana State Department of Health and the Indiana Medical History Museum.
The Indiana Medical History Image Collection is now available! Check this site for photographs, drawings and other images dating from 1899 to 1920.
The Indiana Public Health Digital Library web launch will be in May, 2009. Information and updates about the project will appear in Medical Library News. For additional information contact: Elaine Skopelja eskopelj@iupui.edu or 274-8358.
